Safe Spaces Now Exhibition
Client UN Women UK
Illustrators Sorrel Milne and Connie Noble
Location Westminster Tube Station
Partners Transport for London
Created for UN Women UK, Connie Noble and I created a series of illustrations that draw attention to street harassment and call on mp’s to take a stand. The exhibition was showcased in Westminster tube station for three weeks and depicted a woman’s unsafe journey home and how by standers can help. The location of the exhibition meant that mp’s viewed it every morning and evening on work commute. The exhibition was part of a larger #safespacesnow movement and situated within 16 days of activism against women and girls. Connie and I were invited to the UN Women UK awards due to the work we created and had a truly inspiring evening.
